RADICAL LOVE: Why Ye Loves All People
Does Christ call us to choose a radical love for those society deems unlovable?
During Ye’s interview on Infowars earlier today he displayed a radical notion of love that has set the nation’s media on fire. Almost immediately following the interview, Ye was trending in the top spot on Twitter with over 500,000 tweets mentioning him. All of this was because Ye declared that he loves all people including: Jews, Nazis, Zionists, and even Adolf Hitler himself.
Jonathan Greenblatt from the ADL took to Twitter saying, “Saying you ‘like Hitler,’ ‘love the Nazis,’ and spending all your time with a white supremacist makes one thing clear: Ye is a vicious antisemite. His comments today on InfoWars are not just vile and offensive: they put Jews in danger.”
While Jon Cooper from the Biden and Obama Administrations tweeted, “‘I like Hitler… They did good things too, we've got to stop dissing the Nazis all the time,’ Kanye West said today on InfoWars. Fuck that anti-Semitic asshole.”
Both of these reactions represent a large swath of the blowback the 2024 presidential hopeful received in the media. In order to properly respond to these negative tweets we must ask the question, “Does Christ call us to choose a radical love for those society deems unlovable?”
In John 13:34, Jesus says, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.” If you are to take this verse without context it may seem like a reiteration of a “lukewarm” love quote you would see at your local Hobby Lobby, but this is not the case. Christ says this while He is looking across the table at the man who will send Him to His own execution. As well as His closest companion who will act like he does not know Jesus in the hour that mattered most. Christ knows the outcome of these events, but speaks the truth of radical love despite the knowledge of death.
When Ye declares that he loves all people and specifically names the group and person that society has deemed unlovable, he is making a conscious choice of radical love at his own detriment. Ye had the option in his life to keep his mouth shut and ride off into the sunset with the billions he was contractually promised, but he has chosen to become a battering ram for God. He has used this battering ram in recent weeks and specifically today to break a clear hole through the intellectual framework that has been constructed for the last 70 years, calling into question the meaning of celebrity and power.
In our world that is controlled by a vindictive and destructive Jewish elite hell bent on crushing any meaningful resistance; Ye stating that he loves both Nazis and Jews in the same sentence becomes radical love. This declaration destroys the entire mind-frame that has been constructed in order to keep us all stagnant in our hatred. Radical love is a force that tears down barriers and brings us closer to Christ. Our goal is to have no hatred in our hearts and no vitriol for the ones that oppress us. It is with love that we need to clear our vision in order to call out the ways society is being manipulated with hatred for our past and to
root out the enslavement of the mind.
